Parish Administrative Ministry

Through our Baptism we have been given the gift of faith.  At Confirmation the Holy Spirit bestowed on us other gifts, including the gift of mission, of ministry.  Every gift that we receive from the Holy Spirit is for the common good and enables us to be of service – to the Church and to the world. These gifts from the Spirit are perfect in themselves and perfect for us as unique children of God. We show our appreciation for these gifts by using them.

The Parish Administrative Volunteers always welcome more help. If your skills are office work, there are different offices that are available for helping. If you are a fix-it person, we have minor repairs that you could help with. If your talent is outdoors and you like gardening or ground maintenance, helping to make the Church more beautiful could be your calling. If you are interested in volunteering for this ministry, contact the Parish Office.

St. John’s Annual Parish Festival is held every spring in May. We are always looking for new ideas for games, booths and activities for both children and adults.  There is also help needed in setting-up, working booths, and cleaning-up. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we want you to be a part of it. We start having meetings after the first of the year. If you are interested and would like to help in any way contact the Parish Office.
